Library and Information Science: InfoSphere- Learn • Search • Discover Library and Information Science helps students understand the importance of books, digital resources, and responsible use of information. Through this subject, students develop reading habits, information literacy, and research skills essential for lifelong learning. As part of practical exposure, students visited renowned libraries such as Amir-ud-Daula Public Library, Lucknow, IIM Lucknow, IIT Kanpur, and Amity University Lucknow. These visits provided firsthand experience of public, academic, and university libraries, highlighting both traditional and modern information systems. Such learning experiences strengthen students’ understanding of knowledge management and inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for reading.
