Embarking on the journey to join DPS Gomtinagar is a thoughtful process that ensures the right fit for your child’s educational experience. Our admission process is designed to be comprehensive and transparent, providing families with a clear pathway to enrolment. To initiate the journey, prospective parents or guardians are invited to submit an application form, marking the first step towards consideration for admission.
Upon receipt of your application, our dedicated admissions team will guide you through the subsequent steps, including an entrance test and other essential elements of the admission process. We understand the importance of thorough pre-course counselling, and our team is committed to assisting you in making informed decisions about your child’s educational journey at DPS Gomtinagar.

Step 1: Entry Requirement
- Prospectus can be acquired from the School Office.
- Application forms are to be filled in and submitted to the Administrative office..
- Playgroup Admission: Through Observation/Interaction.
- Classes IV to XI: Written Evaluation + Interaction. Only the child needs to be present for the interaction.
Entrance Test & Interaction Details-
1. Play Group (PG): Interaction only (No entrance test)
2. Nursery & Prep: Entrance test + Interaction
(Entrance duration: 40 minutes)
3. Classes I & II: Entrance test + Interaction
English, Hindi and Mathematics
(Entrance duration: 90 minutes)
4. Classes III to V : Entrance test + Interaction English,Hindi and Mathematics
(Entrance duration: 2 hours)
5. Classes VI to VIII : Entrance test + interaction
English,Hindi,Mathematics and Science
(Entrance duration: 3 hours)
6. Classes IX & X:
Entrance test + interaction
English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science
(Exam duration: 3 hours)
7. Classes XI & XII : Entrance Test will be conducted on the following basis
Exam duration : 45 minutes for each subject.
a) For Science Stream : English , Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics/ Biology
b) For Commerce Stream : English and Mathematics
c) For Humanities Stream : English & Social Science
